The founders of Nelson Bay Golf Course must have had great foresight because the land they selected is perfect for a golf course. I played the back nine which I found fascinating. There are lots of interesting and surprising challenges such as the very steep Hole 20. The course is clearly marked and is easy to navigate. Hole 23 has an unforgiving bend with a large water trap to the right. Bookings can be made by telephoning the Pro Shop on 02 4981-2073.
