The course has many magnificent trees some of which are more than 100 years old. Walking around the course it is easy to see why it rates so high among Australia's top courses. The course has plenty of bunkers and some of these are very deep. The Lakes course has lots of water and is very challenging but a definite "must do" for keen golfers. The Yarrawonga & Border Golf Club Pro Shop is very well equipped and they have some excellent sales from time to time.
